As a wholly-foreign-owned enterprise funded by Malaysian investors, Ziyang Crystal Fruits Co., Ltd. has been incorporated successfully in Anyue county, Ziyang city. It is Anyue county’s first case of wholly foreign funding by overseas companies, a breakthrough in overseas investment promotion for the county.
On August 5, officials with the Bureau of Commerce of Anyue County met with Malaysian overseas Chinese Mr. Zeng Yong, general manager of Ziyang Crystal Fruits Co., Ltd. and inquired about the current operation of the company and the progress of relevant formalities. The manager first expressed thanks for the concern and support of the CPC Anyue County Committee, the Anyue County Government and relevant departments. He said the company is full of confidence to expand the domestic and international market for Anyue lemons, and as a foreign-funded company incorporated in Anyue county and engaging in fruit processing, sales, import and export, the company has completed relevant formalities and undergone various registrations with administrations of industry and commerce, taxation, quality supervision, commodity inspection and the customs, and having obtained the qualifications of import and export business, the company will seek to start independent export business as soon as possible. Wang Jun, director of the Bureau of Commerce, indicated that to provide excellent services to enterprises, support enterprise growth, promote trade circulation and improve export performance is the responsibility of commerce administrations. Enterprises are welcome to report their difficulties to relevant departments, which will offer help and find solution to them in accordance with law. Wang hoped that the overseas funding and incorporation of the company will get the outside world more informed of Anyue county’s investment environment and policies of investment promotion and serve as a start for more foreign investment and quick and sound development of foreign trade in the county.
