Intel launched a program of assisting Sichuan disaster area and“I World Plan”on June 23. The key point of the program is to help the students in the disaster area to return to school. According to its plan, Intel will help establish 200 computer network classrooms in eight cities and counties hard hit in the quake in accordance with the reconstruction plans of the local governments.
By now, Intel has donated a fund of RMB48 million for China quake relief, among which RMB35 million will be used with the“Intel i World Plan”.
