Sichuan University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University signed a cooperative agreement to establish the“Assistance and Research Center for Sichuan Post-seismic Reconstruction”. The center will offer intellectual support to reconstruction in the disaster area by doing research on the subjects of mentality, medical care, construction management and engineering science and technology, etc.
In the aspect of rehabilitation and nursing service, it will include prosthesis and correction, rehabilitation therapy, nursing, etc.; in the aspect of construction management and engineering science and technology, it will include renewable energy, water conservancy and environment engineering, geotechnical and structural engineering, construction management and quality management, geodynamics, etc.
