To carry out the post-disaster psychological intervention and aid, hospitals at all level of the city will appoint special psychological doctors, said the source from Chengdu Municipal Health Bureau. After special trainings, these doctors will not be replaced within three or five years.
At present, the cities of Dujiangyan, Pengzhou and Chongzhou are the pivot areas to launch the post-disaster psychological intervention. Doctors should go into communities, villages, resettlement points, hospitals and schools to offer psychological aid.
