A documentary full-length drama“Holding one’s Ground”, created with the story of the May 12 Wenchuan earthquake as the backgroud, started its first play at Beijing Haidian Theater on June 16.
The drama narrates that a village head came out boldly to rescue the quake-hit people and tourists in disregard of his families when the quake occurred, and how he held together the villagers to overcome the fear of death and finally got rescued. The drama started touring the country from June 18.
