Chengdu, one of China’s best tourist cities, officially offered its invitation to overseas tourists with 10 tourist routes on June 16.“The promotion of the 10 routes is an indication of Chengdu’s recovering tourism industry,”said Yin Jianhua, president of Chengdu Cultural and Tourism Development Group. The 10 tourist routes are as follows:
The tour for delicious food: including Yipintianxia Cate Street, Wide and Narrow Alleys and Qintai Road;
The tour for Tianfu ancient towns: including Luodai, Pingle, Huanglongxi and Anren townships;
The tour for the homeland of pandas: including Panda Base, Panda Ecological Park, Bifeng Valley and Baoxing;
The tour for ancient Shu culture: including Sanxingdui, Jinsha, Wuhouci Temple and the Temple of Emperors Wang and Cong;
The tour for sceneries: including Mt.Emei scenic spot, Leshan Giant Buddha and excellent scenic spots in Chengdu downtown;
The tour for Tianfu recreation: including Wide and Narrow Alleys, Jinli, Jinsha Site and Panda Base;
The tour for Taoism: including Xiling Snow Mountain, Heming Mountain and Qingyang Taoist Temple;
The tour for celebrities’vestige: including Du Fu Cottage, Ba Jin’s Former Residence, Li Jiren’s Former Residence, Three-SU Temple Garden and Guo Moruo’s Former Residence;
The tour for modern art: including the Painters’village of Sansheng Flower Town, XLY MoMA, Longyuan, the Wide and Narrow Alleys and 82 Art Room.
