On Jan. 10th, Chengdu Railway Administration released a new train diagram to be carried out on 11st. Newly added CRH sleeper trains from Chengdu to Beijing and Shanghai set out in the afternoon and reach the destination in the morning, only taking about 15 hours. A pair of trains from Dazhou to Guangzhou is added, running along Da-Wan, Yi-Wan, Jiao-Liu, Hu-Kun, Jing-Guang railways.
On 11st, at 15:50 and 17:15, the first high-class CRH sleeper trains in south-west China will start from Chengdu North Railway Station to Beijing West Railway Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.
The D318 train from Chengdu to west Beijing runs along Sui-Cheng, Da-Cheng, Xiang-Yu, Xi-Kang, Zheng-Xi high-speed railways and Jing-Guang railway and stops at Chengdu, Nanchong, Shijiazhuang and Beijing West Station, taking 15 hours and 50 minutes to arrive in Beijing at 7:30 the next moring.
The CRH trains from Chengdu to Shanghai run along Sui-Cheng, Da-Cheng, Xiang-Yu, Han-Dan, He-Wu, He-Ning and Hu Ning high-speed railways and stop at Chengdu, Nanchong, Hefei, Nanjing, Suzhou and finally Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, taking 15 hours and 35 minutes to arrive in Shanghai at 8:50 the next morning.
Now the pre-sale time of CRH train tickets from Chengdu to Beijing and Shanghai is 20 days. A new day’s tickets begin to sale at 15:00 every day. Reporters learned on 10th afternoon that the soft seat tickets within 10 days have sold out while soft sleeper tickets are abundant.
