Hope for Cats the Musical in Chinese           The classic musical Cats is very likely to be adapted to a Chinese version, disclosed by the head of the musical’s publisher the Really Useful Group Ltd, Tim Mcfarlane on Monday. The musical was put on eight shows in the city and will conclude today. Tim said the company plans to cooperate with local groups to produce the Chinese version of Cats in three to five years. He spoke highly of local audience’s enthusiasm in appreciating the musical and recognized the city’s potential in the stage show market. He expected to attract 200 million audience with the Chinese Cats.
