Sichuan Yummy Food Goes to the World

Sichuan cuisine, the attractive name card of Chengdu, is featured with its fresh looks, fragrant smell and hot and spicy flavors. Leading by the characteristic Sichuan products, Pixian fermented bean-paste and Baijia bean noodle, Sichuan yummy food gradually finds its way into the world market.

Baijia bean noodle, with a history over one hundred years, is the typical representative of traditional Sichuan snack.. Now, it exports to about thirty countries and regions, including USA, Canada, UK, Japan and Australia. “Because of the strong Sichuan flavor, our company finds buyers in the overseas Chinese circle first. Then through them, our products gradually are accepted by more foreigners and become more well-known too,” said Lu Zhigang, the oversea marketing manager of Sichuan Baijia Food Co., Ltd..

In addition to Baijia bean noodle, Pixian fermented bean-paste, honoured as “the soul of Sichuan cuisine”, has made great progress in the international market. At present, it is sold in over 200 countries and regions, such as Japan, Thailand, USA and Canada. “It is quite safe to say that where there is Chinese, there is Pixian fermented bean-paste,” said a senior manager of Sichuan Pixian Bean-paste Co., Ltd..
