| China International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival | |
A press conference was held on Monday in Beijing releasing details of Chengdu’s preparation in hosting the first China International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in May. The theme of the festival is to promote China’s traditional culture and enhance China’s understanding with other countries. The city will take the chance to display its rich cultural heritage and modern charm in tourism and city construction. By far, 27 intangible cultural heritage items from Sichuan are listed in the national roll, including four from Chengdu.
