Sichuan Leisure Culture Association to be Established 　　Sichuan Provincial Leisure Culture Association (SPLCA), the first one of its kind in China, is to be established and launched its inauguration on April 7th at the Jinjiang Hotel, said a source from the Municipal Real Estate Administration. The establishment of SPLCA will greatly promote the development of the cultural industry of Sichuan Province. The association will be devoted to offering ideas and information to Chengdu and other cities, in hopes of shaping Chengdu to be a more colorful city of leisure. According to Han Shuxia, secretary general of SPLCA, as the first provincial leisure culture research institute in the country, SPLCA will organize experts on leisure culture, leisure industry and leisure economy to study and research issues related to leisure, setting up a local leisure culture research system as soon as possible. Meanwhile, SPLCA is also aimed to become a platform to promote the value of leisure culture and leisure economy. Moreover, the experience and practices of SPLCA will be spread to other provinces all over the country.
