Zhang Zuoha: Vice Governor of Sichuan Province
Zhang Zuoha, Yi ethnic, was born in Yuexi County, Sichuan Province in August, 1950. He started his career in October, 1969 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December, 1982. Mr. Zhang holds a master’s degree of the Party doctrine and building from the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.
He had been an educated youth in Yuexi County. After graduation from Chengdu Sports College in 1976, he worked successively as coach of the Sports Committee of Yuexi County, deputy director of the Culture and Education Bureau of Yuexi County (presiding), leader of Liangshan Prefecture Ethnic Song and Dance Troup of Sichuan Province, director and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Liangshan Prefecture Cultural Bureau of Sichuan Province, director and vice secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Liangshan Prefecture Education Committee of Sichuan Province.

Mr. Zhang is a member of the 9th CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, and a deputy to the 9th, 10th and 11th Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress.
Mr. Zhang is responsible for labor and social security, judiciary affairs, ethnic and religion affairs, national defense mobilization, and the disabled.
He is in charge of the departments of Labor and Scocial Security, Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Sichuan Provincial Department of Public Security, Provincial Department of National Security, Provincial Department of Justice, Sichuan Ethnic Affairs Commission, Provincial Bureau of Religious Affairs, Provincial Prison Administration, Provincial Office of Civil Defense, Provincial Office of National Defense Education, Provincial Office for Mobilization of Armed Forces, Provincial Office of Economic Mobilization, Provincial Wartime Office, Provincial Office of Science and Technology Information Mobilization, Provincial Composite Office of National Defense Mobilization, Counselors’ Office of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government (Sichuan Research Institute of Culture and History), Sichuan Disabled Persons’ Federation，Provincial Office of the Aged，and Sichuan Beijing Office.
He also serves as the liaison with Sichuan Earthquake Administration，the united-front work, and the military forces.
